Halloween Safety Tips

Medford, New Jersey- Medford Police Chief Anthony Canale and Councilman Joseph Lynn reminded residents today to follow some simple tips to keep their children safe this Halloween. Chief Canale stated, “With the excitement of Halloween, it’s easy to forget about safety.” Councilman Lynn added, “We live in a great community that allows our children to experience the joy and excitement that comes with dressing-up as their favorite character, or perhaps a scary monster, and going house to house trick-or-treating. However, we as parents need to always keep safety in mind while the kids are having fun.”

Dicken's Festival & Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Historic Medford Village Association is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Dickens Festival has been scheduled for Saturday December 6th from 6:00-9:30 (Rain Date: Sunday, December 7th; 3:00-6:30).

The event will take place along Main Street in downtown historic Medford. An official Town Crier will kick off the festivities with the anticipated arrival of Santa being led in a horse drawn carriage down Main Street. Representatives from Acme Markets, along with Mayor Christopher Myers and the Medford Council will have the honor of lighting the Township's holiday tree at 6:15PM at the Gazebo on South Main Street to begin the evening's celebration.
